The Korda COG Boom QC Flat Pear is part of the Centre Of Gravity lead system, designed so that when a fish moves the lead, it feels the full weight as quickly as possible. To work effectively, these booms must be used with a Centre Of Gravity System lead and a Lead Clip. The boom is constructed from spliced leadcore, with a swivel at one end that attaches to your main line and fits into the nose of the Lead Clip. At the other end, a special swivel has the bottom eye removed so the barrel fits perfectly into the grommet in the centre of the COG lead, with a Kwik Link attached to the eye for easy hook link attachment. Once a fish is hooked, the Lead Clip releases in the usual way, making this a completely safe set-up. Different lengths of the Centre Of Gravity system are available to precisely match the size and shape of the COG lead you are using, as marked on the packaging, ensuring a neat and tangle-free presentation.
