Description
The ESP Tectrix Carp Rod is available in 10ft and 12ft versions, each built on multi-modulus carbon blanks. The 10ft model, offered in 2.75lb and 3.0lb test curves, is lightweight and well balanced, designed for short to medium range fishing on smaller venues, rivers, and canals. Its forward action provides serious power reserves and excellent shock absorption at close range. High-quality, lightweight stainless guides, from 40mm butt to 12mm tip, are critically spaced for optimum distance casting and accuracy. The rod features a smart, minimalist finish with a DPS reel seat, full shrink rubber handle with ergonomic casting grip, and a moulded ESP line clip on a matt black blank. The 12ft ESP Tectrix comes in 3.25lb, 3.5lb, and 4.5lb Spod/Marker versions. These rods are responsive and well balanced, built on matt black multi-modulus carbon blanks. Lightweight stainless guides in a long-range ringing pattern run from 50mm butt to 16mm tip. The forward action delivers excellent casting mechanics while retaining strong fish-playing shock absorption. The 3.25lb model is a versatile all-rounder, while the 3.5lb provides strong long-range performance. The spod/marker rod works best with a midi or midi X spomb, where 6–8oz provides optimum compression for long-range work. Features include a DPS reel seat, full shrink rubber handle with ergonomic casting grip, and a moulded ESP line clip. - 10ft model: 2.75lb and 3.0lb test curves - 12ft model: 3.25lb, 3.5lb, and 4.5lb Spod/Marker test curves - Multi-modulus carbon blanks - Lightweight stainless guides (10ft: 40mm butt to 12mm tip; 12ft: 50mm butt to 16mm tip) - Forward action for casting power and shock absorption - DPS reel seat - Full shrink rubber handle with ergonomic casting grip - Moulded ESP line clip - Matt black blank finish - Includes a pair of padded rod socks for transit protection
