The Penn Tidal 14ft Surfcaster is a three-section surfcasting rod built on a super strong yet lightweight and responsive 30T carbon blank, designed for distance casting. It features a Sensitip that shows even the smallest bites. The Tidal series is Penn's surfcasting range, aimed at giving you what you need for surf fishing. The Tronixpro Xenon C6 is a smooth reel with 13+1 marine-grade stainless-steel bearings for a silky retrieve. Its worm shaft gearing system provides plenty of torque and eliminates movement and vibration, making playing fish and retrieving from long distances effortless. The quick drag system lets you change drag from light to full-on with one turn of the drag knob, which is useful when targeting fish you want to run on the initial take. Slow oscillation ensures the line lay is perfect every time, helping gain extra casting yards. The spool has two sprung line clips on either side, making it easy to thread the line underneath to stop it unravelling. They are also useful for anglers fishing accurately and using the line clip to cast the correct distance each time.
