Gerrys of Morecambe Norway Deluxe Boat Fishing Kit

Description

The Gerrys of Morecambe Norway Deluxe Boat Fishing Kit is a boat fishing setup assembled for targeting cod and halibut in Norwegian waters. The components have been chosen for durability and for the demands of boat fishing in tough conditions. The kit gives you a choice of two Penn Regiment travel rods depending on your preference and the size of fish you are targeting. The 20/30lb class rod suits smaller cod and halibut, while the 30/50lb class rod is intended for larger trophy fish. Both rods are paired with the Penn Fathom II 30 Lever Drag Reel, designed to handle tough conditions. The reel is loaded with 50lb Berkley Nautil Braid for strength and sensitivity, and is fitted with an 80lb Berkley Nautil Leader that resists abrasion from rocks and rough water. The terminal side of the kit includes an expanded lure selection: - 3 large shads, effective for halibut - 2 Sandy Andys, which work well for cod - 4 kinetic pirks, suited to jigging - 2 slow jigs, which simulate a realistic swimming action - 2 packets of link clips - 1 packet of split rings The link clips and split rings allow lures to be changed quickly and easily. For an angler planning a trip to Norway, the kit offers the durability, strength and versatility needed for big fish in these waters.
