Loop Ström Traditional Single Hand Fly Rod

Description

Inspired by the Golden Age of fly fishing, the Loop Ström Traditional single hand fly rod combines the timeless aesthetics of classic cane rods with the performance of next generation carbon technology. It is a special edition collection that celebrates the heritage of rod making without compromising on the strength, stability or accuracy expected from modern day anglers. The rod is built on the same high-performance 7X technology heptagonal blank as the flagship Ström range, and features a distinctive cane-inspired finish. This is complemented by a custom dark nickel and hand-selected myrtle wood reel seat, an ergonomic flor cork handle and Japanese kimono silk thread wraps. Every detail pays tribute to traditional craftsmanship, right down to the ferrule stoppers, while delivering the performance of the premium fly rod series. The 796 model excels in situations that call for larger flies fished on both floating and sinking lines, and is an outstanding tool for targeting migratory species across diverse freshwater and coastal environments. Whether turning over surface bombers for rising Atlantic salmon, swinging flies for sea trout, pursuing hard-fighting steelhead or using heavy-sinking lines and big flies on large stillwaters, it delivers casting power and line control in all conditions. - 7X Technology - M40X Next Generation Carbon Fibre - Ergonomic Flor Cork Handle - Custom Dark Nickel and Hand-selected Myrtle Wood Reel Seat - Japanese Kimono Silk Thread Wraps - Agate Stripper Guide (#4 and #5) - Custom REC Cerecoil Stripper and Snake Guides (#7) - Traditional Ferrule Stoppers - Cloth Bag - Aluminium Rod Tube
