Shimano Aero Pro Match Top Kit 2.50m 2pc

Description

The Shimano Aero Pro Match Top Kit is the finesse top kit at the top of the Aero Concept range, aimed at the competition angler who wants maximum stiffness and minimum weight. It uses the highest-grade Japanese carbon from the flagship Aero Pro development programme, which makes it noticeably crisper and faster on the strike than the Super Match kit. Measuring 2.50m and built as a 2-piece design, it is tuned for silverfish, F1s and light-to-medium commercial work. It comes pre-bushed with a 3.8mm internal PTFE bush so light elastics run smoothly, and as part of the Aero Concept it fits every pole in the range, from the X1 up to the flagship Pro. - Model Code: SAPMTK - Length: 2.50m - Sections: 2-piece (Equal length) - Elastic Rating: Up to No. 12 (Optimized for finesse elastics) - Internal PTFE: 3.8mm (Pre-fitted) - Internal Tip Diameter: 4.4mm - Material: Ultra-High Modulus Japanese Carbon - Reinforcement: 40mm reinforced band for side puller installation - Compatibility: All Aero Concept poles (Pro, X7, X5, X3, X2, X1) - Technology: Aero Joint, Alignment System, Ultra Sound Finish The premium carbon keeps the tip still when fishing at 13m or 16m, even in a breeze, which helps bait presentation and speeds up strike registration. The 3.8mm bush suits modern hybrid elastics such as sizes 6 to 10 as well as traditional solid elastics, with enough clearance for the elastic to retract instantly without the sticking that can happen with smaller bushes. Like all Aero kits, the Pro Match is exactly the same length as the Power and Cupping kits, so swapping between kit types does not mean re-plumbing or changing rig length. The Ultra Sound Finish helps with shipping, and depth markers every 10cm let you measure accurately how much line you have in the water.
