The Saber Vac Rac Professional Vacuum Rod Rack is a quickly detachable rod carrier designed to overcome the usual problems of transporting fishing rods. It fits all vehicles and works on aluminium, steel and plastic surfaces, holding up to 8 rods. The rack is non-magnetic and attaches instantly using soft suction bases, with super adhesion that means it cannot be blown off by strong or gusty winds. A rounded "T" bar and shock cords allow rods to be mounted at any angle, and soft padding protects the rods. The pillar-mounted support raises the front carrier to give clearance for reels, while fabric covered straps secure the rods for extra security. Mounting from bonnet to roof avoids the major cause of snapped rods — lifting hatchbacks and tailgates. The rack uses a purpose moulded "T" design, and in tests each rack has lifted in excess of 40kg.
