Description

The Avid Amplify Carp Rod is built for anglers who need to cast big distances or simply want a more powerful rod. During the testing and development period, distances of over 200 yards were frequently recorded by a number of consultants. The blank uses a unique blend of Triple X Carbon and Diagonal Carbon Cross Weave. The bare carbon section at the top of the blank allows for faster tip speed, an enhanced fish-playing experience and a softer tip, which minimises the risk of hook pulls otherwise associated with casting rods. Triple X Carbon loads very quickly, letting you use the full length of the rod to propel leads further, while the Diagonal Carbon Cross Weave enhances the blank's recovery to keep line resistance to a minimum. Super lightweight, low-profile ringing with ultra-tough Silicon Nitride inserts gives the Amplify a responsive, crisp action. It is suited to a wide range of PVA bag applications as well as extreme long-range fishing. Super slim EVA handles provide comfort when casting to the horizon and winding in leads from long range. The Avid Amplify range is available in 12ft and 13ft models, both in the 3-5oz casting weight bracket.
