Westin W2 Jigging 6′ H Max. 250g 1sec

Description

The Westin W2 Jigging 6′ H is a heavy-power vertical jigging rod built for saltwater use, aimed at anglers who work heavy jigs and need to stop a fish from getting back into the reef. It is rated to cast jigs of up to 250g and is designed to handle powerful species such as amberjack, grouper and snapper while limiting the effort demanded of the angler over a long session. The blank is a blend of 80% 30T and 20% 24T high-performance carbon. This construction gives the rod the power to work heavy jigs up to 250g accurately while retaining the structural integrity needed to hold a big fish away from structure. Despite the heavy ratings, the rod stays responsive and transmits subtle vibrations from the lure through to the angler's hands.
