Description
The RIO Premier Midge Tip Short is a fly line built for trout fishing with unweighted nymphs and chironomids in the top foot of the water. It suits lake and loch fishing, with a 3ft clear intermediate tip that sinks at 1.5 inches per second, or a gray hover option that sinks at 1 inch per second. The short tip makes it effective on windy days, in shallow bays, close to shore or over the top of weed beds, keeping flies at the right striking depth for longer. Each line has a supple cold water core with a balance of stretch and strength that helps you feel subtle takes, and a SlickCast coating with welded loops on the front and back for easy rigging.
