Rio Premier Midge Tip Intermediate Float Fly Line - Hover

Description

The RIO Premier Midge Tip Long is a fly line aimed at trout fishing, particularly for presenting unweighted nymphs and chironomids in the top foot of the water. It suits lake and loch fishing, with a 6ft clear tip available in two sink rates: an intermediate tip that sinks at 1.5 inches per second, or a grey hover option that sinks at 1 inch per second. The slow sink rate keeps flies at striking depth for longer, which is useful on windy days, in shallow bays, close to shore, or over the top of weed beds. Each line is built on a supple cold water core that balances stretch and strength, helping you feel subtle takes. The core carries a SlickCast coating, and the line has welded loops at the front and back for easy rigging. - 6ft clear tip - Intermediate tip sinks at 1.5 inches per second - Grey hover option sinks at 1 inch per second - Supple cold water core - SlickCast coating - Welded loops at the front and back - Available in hover or intermediate style
