Description
The PENN Regiment IV Spin/Pilk Rod is an 8 ft (2.44 m) two-section rod built for heavy-duty work, sitting between a spinning rod and a full boat rod. It is aimed at deep-water wrecking and demanding conditions such as the North Sea or Norwegian fjords, where lighter gear is out of its depth. The rod uses PENN's SLS3 blank construction, where the Spiral Layer System allows a very thin-diameter 30-ton carbon blank with considerable strength.
