Drennan E-Sox 12ft Power Pikeflex

Description

The Drennan E-Sox 12ft Power Pikeflex is a dedicated big pike rod, suited to both legered deadbaits and distance float work. At 12ft (3.6m) with a 3.25lb test curve, the blank can distance cast big deadbaits of up to 8oz. The subtle dark platinum blank carries seven large-diameter SIC guides that let stop knots pass freely and help maximise casting distance, with a single 25mm line guide fitted to the butt section. The guides are double-legged, which adds rigidity to the blank to help set big trebles into bony jaws and protects the rings against the demands of big-water piking. The high modulus carbon blank has plenty of power in reserve but keeps a responsive tip for good line control, useful for counteracting drift when fishing at range. The progressive action carries through into the butt section, making the rod an effective shock absorber.
