Description

The Penn Spinfisher V SSV 7500 is a saltwater spinning reel built around a full metal body, with an all-metal frame, rotor and sideplates that keep precise gear alignment under heavy loads. Its water-tight design seals the gear box and drag system to keep saltwater out, making it a practical choice for shore and boat anglers fishing in harsh conditions. The reel runs on five stainless steel shielded bearings plus one infinite anti-reverse roller bearing, with a brass pinion gear and zink/aluminium main gear. The stainless steel main shaft is supported at three points, and the infinite anti-reverse eliminates back play on the rotor. The Slammer Drag System offers an extreme range with endless adjustments and a large diameter drag knob so you can crank down to maximum drag, while sealed HT-100 drag washers provide smooth drag under heavy loads. Line management is handled by the Leveline system, which gives perfect oscillation for extremely even line lay, and the Superline Spool needs no backing because a rubber gasket keeps all superlines from slipping. Line Capacity Rings give quick and easy line capacity readings, and the spool is machined and anodized aluminium.
