Description

The Daiwa 20 Crosscast 45 SCW 5000LD QD is a big pit reel built around a 45mm spool profile, a design lineage Daiwa traces back to the Basia and its reputation for long-distance casting. It combines that 45mm pedigree with the line release advantage of Slow Cross Wrap, whose reduced oscillation improves line lay. The result is lower consumption of casting energy during line release, and when paired with the friction-reducing double lip profile of the LC spool, Daiwa states it increases casting distance by more than 5%. The reel is available in a shallow C version and a spare deep LD spool version, with line capacities of 300m at 0.35mm and 530m at 0.35mm respectively. The C edition allows three spools to be filled from 1000m of line.
