Fox Explorer 8-10ft Retractable Carp Rods

Built on the Fox Horizon X3 blank, the Explorer carp rods feature a unique retractable butt section that lets them be fished at two different lengths. The retracted butt can be locked into two different positions, so every model can be fished at either 8ft or 10ft, allowing you to change the length of your rod effortlessly to suit the angling situation you face. The 4.25lb model makes a suitable spod rod when fished at 10ft (spodding with it at 8ft is not advised); this model is also suited to situations where a stiff rod is required, or when targeting bigger species such as catfish and sturgeon.
