Description

The Daiwa Emblem Spod is a dedicated spodding reel built around the body and spool of the Emblem Pro. It retrieves over 100cm of line for every handle turn, making it suited to repeated spod work at range. The oversize ABS spool lets line peel off effortlessly, and the Tournament line clip cushions even the most powerful of casts. Two features are included to make spodding easier. CastLock keeps the opened bail locked in the correct position during the cast. Auto Cast II lets you engage a button on the underside of the reel; under the tension from a loaded spod, the rotor turns and stops at the perfect position for line pick-up and bail opening. With four high quality ball bearings, including one CRBB, combined with worm gear oscillation, the Emblem Spod is a tough and smooth performer.
