Description
The Akios AIRLOOP R8 is a casting reel built specifically to help anglers achieve extreme casting distances. Its super slow oscillation lays 54 turns of line per cycle on the tournament-length spool, producing precise line lay that significantly reduces friction as line peels away during a cast, translating into substantial gains in distance. A worm drive gearing mechanism and 8+1 stainless steel ball bearings give the reel a smooth, tough build, while the speed drag system lets you tighten the drag with just a fraction of a turn to bring hard-running fish under control quickly. - 8+1 stainless steel ball bearings - Worm drive gearing mechanism - Speed drag system - Super slow oscillation - 54 turns of line per cycle - Tournament length spool
