Shimano SLX 71HG Baitcaster Reel

Description

The Shimano SLX 71HG baitcaster is a left-hand retrieve reel aimed at anglers moving from spinning reels to baitcasting, or those wanting a more direct, compact and lighter setup. It takes features found on Shimano's more expensive reels and packages them in a compact HAGANE Body that is easy to handle, even for less experienced anglers. Rather than trading quality against price, the SLX uses a high-end HAGANE Body made of lightweight aluminium. A strong frame helps the reel work more effectively under pressure, and casting is controlled through the reel's braking system.
