The Nash Scope OPS Retract Landing Net 42in Sawn Off brings a new level of portability to the Scope range, pairing a compact pack-down size with an innovative approach to temporary fish retention. Where earlier Scope landing nets used extendable handles to match the compact packed size of Scope rods, this generation goes further with retractable net arms that substantially reduce transport length without compromising performance on the bank. The central feature is a fish-retention system that lets you rest a netted carp safely. Once a fish is netted, the handle can be secured to the ground with a Scope Butt Lock Peg (sold separately), and the retractable arms collapsed and held with the integrated Velcro retention loop to close the mesh around the fish. This gives you a secure temporary hold while you prepare carp care equipment, set up photography or get a rod back into the water. The redesigned aluminium spreader block uses an overfit arm design for quicker, easier assembly and pack-down. Both models in the range have lightweight 1K carbon handles with an extendable twist-lock mechanism that locks securely at any length. The Sawn Off Retract version adds a slide-and-twist fitting system for faster assembly than previous Sawn Off designs.
