Preston Monster XS Carp Pellet Waggler

Description

Built on the success of the original Monster X series, the Preston Innovations Monster XS Carp range is the next evolution of commercial carp fishing rods. The original Monster X rods became synonymous with commercial fisheries and remained a favourite with anglers for over six years thanks to their reliability, versatility and fish-playing performance. The Monster XS Carp range features upgraded, slimmer diameter blanks that are noticeably lighter and more enjoyable to use. Each rod has been refined to deliver improved balance, enhanced responsiveness and a crisp, progressive action. The parabolic actions absorb powerful lunges from hard-fighting carp while retaining the power required to cast accurately and control fish throughout the fight. Every model is fitted with high-quality Seaguide Minima style guides, a screw-down reel seat, a hook keeper ring and a flat handle for maximum comfort and security. With seven feeder rods and a dedicated Pellet Waggler model, the range covers commercial fishery situations from short-range margin work to long-distance feeder fishing for the biggest carp in the lake. The 11ft Monster XS Pellet Waggler was developed specifically for modern commercial float fishing, combining a remarkably slim, lightweight blank with the power required to handle hard-fighting carp. Its crisp, responsive nature provides excellent float control and casting accuracy, while the progressive through action cushions every surge from hooked fish. Designed primarily for pellet waggler fishing and other shallow-water tactics, the rod bends through to the butt yet retains enough backbone to tame carp well into double figures. - Slim, light carbon blanks - Crisp, responsive actions - Progressive parabolic fish-playing actions - Flat handle design - Lightweight Seaguide Minima style guides - Secure screw-down reel seat - Integrated hook keeper ring - Seven feeder rods and one Pellet Waggler rod - Developed specifically for modern commercial fisheries
