Preston Monster XS Carp Feeder

Description

Built on the success of the original Monster X series, the Preston Innovations Monster XS Carp range is the next evolution of commercial carp fishing rods. The original Monster X rods were a familiar sight on commercial fisheries for over six years, valued for their reliability, versatility and fish-playing performance. The Monster XS Carp range features upgraded, slimmer diameter blanks that are noticeably lighter and more enjoyable to use. Each rod has been refined for improved balance, enhanced responsiveness and a crisp, progressive action. The parabolic actions absorb powerful lunges from hard-fighting carp while retaining the power needed to cast accurately and control fish throughout the fight. Every model is fitted with high-quality Seaguide Minima style guides, a screw-down reel seat, a hook keeper ring and a flat handle for comfort and security. With seven feeder rods and a dedicated Pellet Waggler model, the range covers commercial fishery situations from short-range margin work to long-distance feeder fishing for the biggest carp in the lake. Monster XS Carp Feeder 7ft 30g The shortest feeder rod in the range, the 7ft 30g is designed for ultra-short-range commercial fishing where precision and fish-playing performance are paramount. Its one-piece design with removable quivertip makes it quick to set up while providing a seamless action throughout the blank. It is suited to casting up to 20 metres and works well on snake lakes, narrow commercial venues and situations where fishing tight to islands or features is required. The crisp yet forgiving parabolic action cushions lunges from hard-fighting carp, suiting fish of all sizes while reducing hook pulls and lost fish. Monster XS Carp Feeder 9ft 30g The 9ft 30g Carp Feeder is built for short-range commercial fishing, offering accuracy and fish-playing performance at distances up to 25 metres. Suited to smaller commercial fisheries and island fishing, it combines a lightweight, slim blank with a progressive action. Whether fishing a Method Feeder, Pellet Feeder or bomb and pellet approach, it absorbs the runs of modern commercial carp, with a responsive blank for casting accuracy and a forgiving action for landing fish consistently. Monster XS Carp Feeder 10ft 35g The all-rounder of the range, the 10ft 35g Carp Feeder suits a wide variety of commercial fishery situations. It casts comfortably to distances of 30-35 metres and is suited to Method Feeder, Pellet Feeder and bomb and pellet tactics. The slim, lightweight blank combines crisp recovery with a progressive parabolic action, delivering casting accuracy and fish-playing characteristics. For one rod to cover the majority of commercial feeder fishing situations, the 10ft 35g is difficult to beat. Monster XS Carp Feeder 11ft 45g Designed for targeting fish at greater distances, the 11ft 45g Carp Feeder handles casts beyond 35 metres while maintaining the forgiving action that defines the range. The upgraded blank and larger Minima guides improve casting performance, while the progressive parabolic action bends throughout the rod to keep fish securely hooked during the fight. Suited to Method Feeder and Pellet Feeder tactics, it handles everything from smaller carp to larger specimens. Monster XS Carp Feeder 11ft 75g The 11ft 75g Carp Feeder offers increased power for situations where larger feeders, greater distances and bigger fish are the norm. Built on the same progressive action as the 45g model, it has additional power throughout the blank for demanding commercial venues. Despite its increased casting capability, it retains a smooth parabolic fish-playing action that protects hookholds and helps land more fish. Suited to distances beyond 40 metres and venues containing large, hard-fighting carp. Monster XS Carp Feeder 12ft 50g The 12ft 50g Carp Feeder is developed for anglers requiring additional casting range without sacrificing fish-playing performance. Suited to distances beyond 45 metres, it delivers effortless casting while maintaining the responsive feel and progressive action found throughout the range. Its forgiving parabolic curve makes it equally effective when targeting commercial carp or mixed fisheries containing species such as bream and skimmers. A long-range feeder rod that still offers excellent fish-playing characteristics. Monster XS Carp Feeder 12ft 80g The most powerful feeder rod in the range, the 12ft 80g is designed for demanding situations where larger feeders, greater distances and the biggest fish are the target. With substantial power reserves throughout the blank, it casts large Method Feeders and heavy feeder setups while retaining the progressive parabolic action central to the Monster XS design. The rod bends deeply under pressure, absorbing lunges from powerful carp, yet still provides the control needed when landing fish at range. Suited to anglers targeting specimen commercial carp. Monster XS Pellet Waggler 11ft Developed for modern commercial float fishing, the 11ft Monster XS Pellet Waggler combines a slim, lightweight blank with the power required to handle hard-fighting carp. Its crisp, responsive nature provides float control and casting accuracy, while the progressive through action cushions surges from hooked fish. Designed primarily for pellet waggler fishing and other shallow-water tactics, the rod bends through to the butt yet retains enough backbone to tame carp well into double figures. - Slim, light carbon blanks - Crisp, responsive actions - Progressive parabolic fish-playing actions - Flat handle design - Lightweight Seaguide Minima style guides - Secure screw-down reel seat - Integrated hook keeper ring - Seven feeder rods and one Pellet Waggler rod - Developed specifically for modern commercial fisheries
