The Okuma Surf 8K 420 is a beach rod built for distance casting and clear bite indication. Its three-section blank uses premium grade Toray carbon fibre with a super sensitive spliced tip, giving a progressive action that loads easily and casts well. The tip registers even the smallest bites while the rod retains enough power to handle larger fish. It suits cleaner beaches best, though it copes fine with more mixed ground. The rod is finished with top of the range Fuji K Alconite guides and a secure Fuji reel seat, aluminium reinforced joints and an anatomic rear grip. A reflective finish on the tip helps with spotting bites in both daylight and darkness.
