The Westin W3 Finesse Spin and Blades-T 3rd Generation 7'2" M (Casting) is a specialist rod for anglers who fish reaction baits, particularly bladed jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. It is built to combine the sensitivity needed for bite detection with the power required to pull big fish out of heavy cover. The rod uses a Torayca® high performance carbon blank with a fast-progressive action and Medium (M) power, making it a versatile tool for casting mid-weight lures in the 7-38g range throughout a session. The fast-progressive action is designed around vibrating lures. It gives the stiffness needed for accurate casting and confident hook sets, while the progressive tip absorbs the violent strikes these baits provoke, helping to stop hooks pulling out. The 7-38g casting weight covers most popular spinnerbaits, bladed jigs and medium crankbaits, with enough backbone to extract fish from cover, deep water and weedbeds.
