The secret behind their popularity is the product itself: an affordable, good-looking and trustworthy semi-machined fly reel with a silky smooth but powerful disc brake. They are also light and feature a large arbor. These reels suit every angler, from beginner level to the most advanced. The Vision Hero 7/9 Cassette is aimed at the enthusiastic stillwater angler who needs several different density fly lines. The reel comes with a total of 3 cassettes and a handy zipper-closure fabric pouch. The clear cassettes have a flat surface for your fly line's indicator sticker, or you can write the fly line type there with a permanent marker pen. The cassette locking uses the same trusty ring mechanism found on the XLV Stillmaniac reel, so it is very easy and quick to use: just loosen the ring one turn and you can pull the cassette out, with no need to remove the ring fully. Otherwise the reel is the same as the Hero 7/9, so the capacity, size and brake system are well tested over the years.
