Free Spirit Seeker Full Shrink Rod

Description

The Free Spirit Seeker rod range spans several areas of fishing, including carp rods in 10ft, 12ft and 13ft, plus SPM rods. Longer Seeker carp rods feature abbreviated handles, with some also available in full cork, while the shorter rods come with full shrink handles. The range uses Japanese 40t carbon from Toray, finished with a diagonal carbon woven pattern, and all carp rods have a woven carbon clone reel seat. Toray carbons are used for the butt and tip sections, then wrapped with diagonal woven carbon to finish the blank cosmetically, giving the rods a distinctive look and feel. Free Spirit have opted for a subtle modern build while keeping the clone reel seat in a matching carbon finish. The reel seat features black hoods, and the handle fittings are black Acetile and EVA. Guides are Seaguide TDG, made from stainless steel with an Adaman coating that gives them a stronger plating than other similar guide styles while keeping weight to a minimum. Tip guides are anti-frap. The tipping colour is a subtle grey and platinum around the logo. Free Spirit have also put the rod screen details of test curve on the underside of the blank, so anglers wanting to mix and match test curves can do so without the rods appearing different. As with all Free Spirit rods, the finish is designed to be cosmetically attractive and different, and is free from any paint or lacquer to maintain its appearance for many years.
