The Akios Shuttle 666 STR Kuro is the wide spool version of the Shuttle multiplier reel, offering the same casting capabilities as the standard 656 Shuttle with extra line capacity for anglers who need more. It runs on extra tough 5.3:1 stainless steel gears, and lightweight aluminium side plates cut the overall weight by almost 100g compared with the standard Shuttle, allowing a faster casting action and potentially greater distance. Like the standard Shuttle, the STR Kuro uses a free floating spool system with two integrated ABEC 5 stainless steel bearings, plus both magnetic and centrifugal braking systems for exceptional spool control during the cast.
