The tight, round weave is formed from 8 carriers of PE fibre, giving a braid that casts quietly and knots securely. The deep red colour is intended for lure fishing, where the line's visibility helps in low-light conditions. A thin coating of highly durable microcrystalline polymer keeps the diameter down while helping to reduce the likelihood of wind knots and fraying.
