The Wychwood Maximiser carp rods are built to deliver performance for demanding anglers. The blanks use an ultra-high modulus, low resin content carbon, producing a super crisp, fast taper action that helps deliver superb accuracy, even when fishing at range. They are finished with a 1k matt weave, understated graphics, a full slim Duplon handle and black stainless fittings. The 12ft 3.5lb model can fish solid PVA bags at 100 yards plus with great accuracy, while still retaining excellent fish playing properties and enough shock absorption in the tip to prevent hook pulls, making it a good choice for most fishing situations. Despite its power, it is not an out-and-out distance tool, but more of a finely tuned and versatile rod. The 12ft 9in 3.5lb model is designed purely with extreme range and incredible accuracy in mind. It has a stepped-up butt section that dramatically increases power within the blank, and the super-fast taper tip section helps the blank recover at an incredible speed.
