The Penn Squall Lever Drag is a modern lever drag reel built on a lightweight graphite frame and sideplates, combining strength with a low overall weight. It uses a quick shift 2-speed gear system and a high performance Dura Drag drag that delivers a wide, smooth power arc, with Dura-Drag washers that virtually eliminate hesitation even under extreme drag settings. A ratcheted drag lever prevents drag creep caused by hours of trolling and vibration. The forged and machined aluminium spool features line capacity rings, and the reel runs on a 6 stainless steel bearing system with stainless steel main and pinion gears plus an instant anti-reverse bearing. An adjustable 3-position line out clicker is included, and hidden line harness lugs can be flipped up into position when needed.
