Description

The Lew's Pro-Ti SLP Speed Spool is a baitcast reel built around a strong one-piece aluminium SLP frame and sideplates with a Titanium Deposition finish. Its 32mm U-shape spool is machined from aircraft-grade Duralumin Titanium, double anodized, drilled and chamfered, while the hard anodized aluminium alloy Speed Gears are cut on a Hamai CNC gear hobbing machine. A precision 11-bearing system runs on double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings, including premium Japanese high speed spool bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing. Casting control comes from the externally adjustable 6-pin, 27 position QuietCast Adjustable Centrifugal Braking system, backed up by a titanium double anodized aluminium spool tension adjustment with an audible click. A rugged carbon fibre drag system provides up to 20lbs of drag power, adjusted via a titanium double anodized bowed aluminium drag star with audible click adjustment. The reel is finished with a bowed lightweight 95mm carbon fibre handle with Winn Dri-Tac knobs, a titanium-coated Zirconia line guide, a Speed Dial line indicator and a Speed Keeper hook keeper. - Gear ratio: 7.5:1 - Weight: 178.6g - Casting weight: 4 - 90g
