The Avid Carp Benchmark LevelTech Bedchair is part of the Benchmark range, known for luxurious, premium bedchairs. Its memory foam mattress is designed for bankside comfort, and the LevelTech design aims to provide stability and strength regardless of the terrain, so you can sleep on a level, secure bed. The LevelTech leg system (patent pending) features a stepped track on the inner leg. The cam system on the outer part of the leg uses a pivoting lever with a double tooth design that slots securely into the track on the inner leg when engaged. The cam has no moving parts; instead of a traditional spring system, it uses opposing magnets to engage the teeth into the track, which is intended to make the system longer-lasting, more robust and maintenance-free. Spirit levels are built into the two throw hinges at the top of the frame, making it easier to level the bed and helping to distribute your weight evenly over the mattress while sleeping, which can help relieve pressure points.
