The Team Vass 230 Winter Lined Jacket is a waterproof winter fishing jacket built on Vass-Tex 230 fabric with a 20,000mm hydrostatic head rating and a warm winter lining. It is designed to keep you protected from driving rain and biting wind while staying light enough to fish in, so you get warmth without the bulk of a heavier garment. The waterproofing uses Vass's Permanent Waterproof Fabric Coating Technology, which is engineered into the fabric itself rather than applied as a surface finish. That means no reproofing, no loss of performance after repeated washes, and none of the PTFE repellent chemicals associated with sprayed-on treatments. The outer sheds water rather than soaking it up, so the jacket dries quickly between trips, and RDT (Rapid Dissipate Technology) moves internal body moisture out through the fabric to keep you dry from sweat as well as rain on long, active days. The fabric is salt-water and abrasion resistant, wiping clean and holding up to estuary, boat and coastal use, and the seams are welded throughout for reliability in the worst conditions.
