The Avet SX 5.3 G2 No Glide Plate Reel is a single speed multiplier built for anglers who want a lightweight, strong reel with a dependable lever drag. The frame is CNC machined from a single block of 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminium, giving a true one-piece structure, while the internal components are stainless steel. The whole reel is anodised for corrosion resistance and a durable finish. The lever drag system has an adjustable strike pre-set, letting you set the strike point to suit your fishing and stay in control of the carbon fibre drag. Sealed bearings and the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system keep the reel working smoothly under load. The offset machined handle arm reduces the centreline profile and cuts cranking wobble, and the handle is finished with a large soft touch knob. A matching machined aluminium rod clamp is supplied.
