The Daiwa Millionaire Tournament 7HT Mag Reel centres on a magnetic braking system that adjusts itself during the cast, giving a level of brake control that responds to the spool as it turns. That system is called Magnofuge. Magnofuge lets the spool reach maximum speed at the start of the cast, then kicks in almost instantly. As the reel detects the centrifugal force of the spool reducing, it applies minute and gradual adjustments to the magnetic resistance, matched in perfect synchronicity with the speed of the spool. The 7HT Mag comes cast ready straight from the box, and a wide range of magnetic settings is available through an easy grip, CNC machined dial, so you can tailor the braking range to suit any condition. On the winding side, the reel offers a swift ratio of 5.81, six ball bearings of which five are CRBBs, and an improved handle size and grip.
