The Penn Carnage Boat rod series is built for saltwater anglers fishing the waters of Northern Europe, covering a range of boat fishing styles. The 20lb model suits lighter boat work in shallow to medium depths for flatfish, cod and pollock, while the 50lb version is aimed at the biggest cod, large halibut and sharks. The blanks use high quality carbon with Powerlux 1000 resin, producing light, thin blanks with high strength, and an X-wrap construction adds further strength while preventing rod twist.
