Description

The Tronixpro Cobra GT2 420 is a two-piece continental style rod, a configuration that sets it apart from the three-piece rods usually found in this category. It uses the same spliced-in solid tip as the GT three-piece, giving clear bite indication while staying rigid enough to handle fast tides and strong surf. The progressively powerful mid tip and butt section deliver casting performance along with the backbone needed to land big fish from the shore. The two-piece build was introduced for anglers who like the bite detection and general usability of a continental style rod but prefer not to fish with a three-piece. The rod is hybrid rung with Fuji CC framed KWAG Alconite rings and fitted with a Fuji Sliding DPS Reel Seat, so it suits both multiplier and fixed spool reels. It is constructed from lightweight 40 Ton carbon from Japan.
