Avet MXJ 5.8 Magic Cast Star Drag Reel

Description

The Avet MXJ 5.8 Magic Cast Star Drag Reel is a conventional star drag reel built around an open-face design, a heavy-duty power handle and an all-aluminium body for strength and durability. It is aimed at anglers targeting large game fish and saltwater species, and the M.C. Cast control system makes it manageable even for those who have never cast a conventional reel before. The M.C. Cast control system uses Avet's patented Adjustable Intensity Polar Amplification Technology, which Avet describes as the most efficient and easy-to-use cast control system for a conventional style reel. It handles everything from the lightest bait to heavy lures. To cast, place your thumb on the spool, swing, remove your thumb from the spool and let it fly — you only need to thumb the spool again when the lure hits the water. - Proudly designed, manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A. - Precision machined stainless steel gears, 5.8:1 gear ratio. - Hardened stainless steel drive shaft. - 7+1 stainless steel precision bearings. - Instant anti-reverse clutch bearing plus backup silent dog and gear. - Large, powerful multi-disc carbon fibre drag system. - Powerful ergonomic offset handle to reduce cranking wobble. - Comfortable wide spoke star wheel adjustment. - 100% precision billet machined yoke mechanism and components. - 100% precision billet machined 6061 T6 aluminium structural components. - Corrosion resistant Type II anodized finish. - Matching anodized rod clamp can be installed without removing line. - Avet's world renowned durability, reliability and performance. - Proudly made in USA.
