Drennan Acolyte Pro Pole Spare Sections are designed as original replacement parts for the Drennan Acolyte Pro range of poles, ensuring continued optimal performance and longevity of your fishing tackle. These spare sections are primarily intended for the Acolyte Pro Carp pole, allowing for precise replacement of damaged segments while maintaining the pole's original action, balance, and reliability for carp and match fishing. Crafted with new materials throughout their construction, these sections feature reinforced male and female joints for enhanced durability and to prolong pole life. The Acolyte Pro Carp sections, in particular, utilise different carbons and resins to achieve increased section strength, making them robust enough for targeting larger fish. Sections five to eleven are built on updated mandrels, reflecting advancements in carbon technology. A variety of spare sections are available to suit different needs and pole configurations: - No 3 Section - No 4 Section - No 5 Section - No 6 Section - No 7 Section - No 8 Section Additionally, several types of top kits are offered: - A Kit (for light to medium elastic, no Side Pull Slot) - Carp Plus Kit (for medium to heavy elastic, pre-fitted Side Pull Slot) - Ghost Carp Kit (for medium to heavy elastic, pre-fitted Side Pull Slot, light grey Ghost Tip) - Double 2 Kit (extra joint in No2 section, pre-fitted Side Pull Slot) - Ghost Double 2 Kit (extra joint in No2 section, pre-fitted Side Pull Slot, light grey Ghost Tip) - Acolyte Shallow Kit (1.7m single piece for F1s and carp, available in standard carbon and Ghost version) - Margin Kits (2.33m length, designed for close-range work, some with Ghost Tips) The wide-bore, two-piece top kits typically measure 2.89m in length and are ready to accept 3.5mm external diameter Super Slick PTFE bushes. Larger 4.5mm and 5.4mm external diameter PTFE bushes are also included with some kits for thicker elastic. Many top kits are factory-fitted with Drennan's unique Side Pull system and Roller Cone accessories, improving elastic performance. New Acolyte Pro Carp kits feature a larger 4.7mm internal diameter tip section, allowing for direct use with elastics up to Red Bungee without the need for cutting back. The butt diameter of the Acolyte Pro at 16 metres is approximately 47mm. Compatibility is broad within the Acolyte family; original Acolyte pole owners can use their existing top 2, top 3, and top 4 kits with the Acolyte Pro, and No 3 and No 4 sections of the Acolyte Pro Carp are interchangeable with the original Acolyte Carp versions. Top kits and sections three to seven can also potentially interchange between the Acolyte Pro Carp and Acolyte Pro Margin Carp poles.
