The Tenryu Injection Fast Finesse MH is a 2.26m rod rated for 8-35g, built for soft bait fishing and fine techniques such as bottom fishing. Its butt section is short at 28cm, which lets you exert plenty of power while keeping the rod easy to move around. It was developed for straight retrieve fishing with soft lures that call for long casting distances and high sensitivity, and it also handles small topwater lures. The blank incorporates CNT technology, which uses nanocarbon tubes to improve the cohesion of the carbon fibres, giving strong bite detection and a responsive fight. The rings are Fuji K with SIC ceramics, resistant to intensive use with braid. For the Fast Finess range, the Japanese manufacturer has moved away from the red livery in favour of a more discreet black, and the handle features a natural cork section.
