It resists drop-off, skipping, and wear from overheating, dissipating heat across fully sealed extra-large carbon brake discs. Twenty easy-to-see drag settings sit on a large-diameter drag knob that is easy to grip and adjust during a fight, while 39 detents allow fine tuning for different leader and tippet combinations. The extra sturdy frame and spool are made to withstand the rigours of boat fishing, where knocks on the gunwale and pounding runs through breakers are common.
