Shimano Aero X2 Pole Pack 13m

Description

The Shimano Aero X2 13m Pole Pack is aimed at club and match anglers who work to a 13-metre limit and want a versatile, well-built pole without paying for extra length they will never use. Built from high-quality Japanese carbon with a construction profile similar to the X5, it is stiff, lightweight and well balanced at its full 13m length. The Aero Alignment System adds rigidity, while the Ultra Sound Finish keeps the sections shipping smoothly, suiting both high-intensity commercial carping and finesse silverfish work. Package contents: - 1 x Aero X2 Full Pole (13.00m) - 3 x Aero Super Power Kits (2.50m) – pre-bushed with pure PTFE and featuring a 40mm reinforced band for your choice of side puller - 1 x Aero Pro Cupping Kit – supplied with two Shimano pole cups for precise feeding - 1 x Aero X2 13m Extension – a reversible extension that ensures a true 13m or 11.5m length for FIPSed compliance - 1 x Aero Competition Pole Holdall – a rigid holdall to keep the pole protected Specifications: - Model Code: AEX2130P - Full Length: 13.00m (True Length with Extension) - Sections: 8 Sections + Extension - Material: High-Quality Japanese Carbon - Weight: Approx. 950g at 13m (Excellent balance-to-weight ratio) - Transport Length: 185cm - Elastic Rating: Rated for heavy elastics with Super Power Kits - Technology: Aero Joint, Alignment System, Ultra Sound Finish - Interchangeability: Top kits are compatible with X3, X5, X7, and Aero Pro Performance and features: - Advanced Taper Design: directly influenced by the Aero Pro program, the X2's tapers are optimised to distribute weight closer to the hand, making the pole feel lighter than its actual weight. - Aero Joint Reinforcement: the female joints are reinforced with a 1k carbon weave and cross-carbon wrap to protect against the high-pressure typical of commercial fishing and elbow wear. - True Length Compliance: unlike many mid-range poles, the Aero X2 is a "True Length" pole. When the extension is fitted, it meets the exact 13m requirement for international competition rules. - Future-Proof Kits: while the main sections (No. 4 and up) are specific to the X2 mandrel, the top kits are universal across the entire Aero range, so you can upgrade to the "Super Match" or "Super F1" versions as your needs evolve. A 14.5m extension is available separately for the X2 if you later need extra reach, letting you grow your setup without replacing the whole pole.
