Description

The Daiwa Air Z System Whip 10m is Daiwa's longest system whip, built for the demands of fishing at extreme length. It suits the modern trend of fishing longer whips "to hand," giving extra reach on large commercial fisheries, canals, and rivers where accessing feeding zones or swinging in fish quickly matters. Despite the 10m length, the advanced carbon construction keeps it stiff, responsive, and manageable over long sessions. The blank is built from Super MSG (Multi Strand Graphite), a high-grade carbon fibre that keeps the whip light for its length while providing the wall strength and stiffness needed for rapid striking and netting. The sections use ITS (Integrated Taping System) to strengthen the joints and prevent them locking up, and the Diamond Satin slide-easy paint finish lets the whip ship in and out effortlessly, which matters for competitive match fishing speed. Handling areas from the No. 4 section onwards are reinforced, giving a positive, non-slip grip at long range and confidence when swinging fish to hand or presenting heavy rigs.
