Preston Innovations has designed the Euro Carp 1300 STR X Pole as part of its next generation of long poles built specifically for carp fishing in Europe. The STR range uses the same mandrel as the Euro Carp range, so it is fully compatible with previous models from butt to tip, while benefiting from the latest carbon technology. All five poles in the range share this mandrel and are fully interchangeable, along with a new generation of top kits. The design priorities behind the range are comfort, power, balance, compatibility and precision. The top kits are identical across every pole in the range, from the 8.5m Edge up to the top of the range STR 1300, so they are fully interchangeable whichever model you own. Each top kit features depth markers at 1cm intervals, which help when adjusting depths, shotting patterns and the distance between float and connector. The Euro Carp 1300 STR X is the most powerful 13m pole Preston Innovations has produced, with the X standing for Xtra strong. Despite that power, it remains comfortable to use and is fishable at its full 13m length without a pole support. It is supplied with a comprehensive spares pack.
