Korda Kaizen Platinum Spod Blank Kit

Description

The Kaizen Platinum Spod Blank Kit gives you the 12ft spod rod blank on its own, so a rod builder can finish it to your own specification rather than the factory build. The Kaizen Platinum range is made to a high specification using quality components, and the blanks are offered for anglers who want to personalise their rods. That could mean a full cork handle, a particular type of rod ring, different coloured whippings, personalisation such as your name, or a different reel seat instead of the Fuji DPS 20 used on the factory models. The 12ft spod blank has a very fast recovery and a super-fast taper, yet is extremely lightweight and easy to move through the air. The handle is the right length, and the ceramic tip ring is designed for use with braid. It is good up to around 140 yards; in testing Terry Edmonds cast it 51 wraps with a medium Spomb. Danny Fairbrass: "It's been designed to be really easy to use for the average angler. I'm not the biggest caster in the world, but with the right length handle and a really lightweight rod, that is really powerful, like this one, it goes absolutely miles with no effort whatsoever."
