Description

The Guru SMWG Speed Stop Ready Rig is a pre-tied hooklength built around an optimum hair length, developed to present the most popular hookbaits effectively. A Speed Stop at the end of the hair traps the hookbait in place, while a small piece of 0.3mm Micro silicone on the hook shank keeps the bait positioned correctly so the rig works as intended. This version uses the SMWG hook, which is PTFE coated for a super-sharp, longer lasting point. It suits a wide variety of fish species and fishing situations, including feeder and bomb fishing and certain pole fishing setups. Using the Speed Stop is quick and easy: push a Speed Stop Needle into the thicker end of the Speed Stop, then push the thinner end of the Stop through the hookbait, making sure it passes fully through the bait and lies flat against it. Remove the needle and the hookbait is perfectly presented and ready to fish. The PTFE coating on all SMWG hooks significantly improves durability, sharpness and longevity.
