Westin W10 Versiteez 2nd

Description

The Westin W10 Versiteez 2nd is a jigging rod built for fine, accurate softbait fishing, but its real strength is refusing to be limited to one job. Fish it with cranks, twitchbaits and all types of bladed jigs — the incredibly sensitive Torayca T1100G+M46X+'Nanoalloy' 55Ton' blank helps you detect even the most delicate bite instead of fishing blind. - Length: 7'8" | Sections: 2 | Power: MH (Medium Heavy) | Casting range: 8-36g - Handle: G-hyper neo carbon and cork handle - Reel seat: Fuji TCH carbon-fibre reinforced plastic, high strength and ultra-light - Hood: 360° custom-designed screw-down with high-strength aluminium - Guides: Tangle-free Fuji Titanium Torzite K guides - Blank: Torayca T1100G+M46X+'Nanoalloy' 55Ton' carbon blank - Joint: 4-axial and 1K carbon-reinforced spigot joint - Hook-keeper: Seaguide Stainless DHOOK - Case: Round Cordura tube with matching rod bag included - Extras: Individually strength tested, unique serial number on each rod Where to use it: - Softbait jigging for big perch and medium zander - Cranks, twitchbaits and bladed jigs in mixed conditions - Boat, kayak and belly boat fishing at shorter length - Anglers wanting one versatile rod for several techniques Don't pigeonhole this rod as 'just for softbaits' — its real value is switching seamlessly between jigs, cranks and twitchbaits within the same session as conditions and fish response change. Westin recommend a 2500-3000 size reel for optimal balance and performance with this rod. Both the 7'8" and 8'4" Versiteez share the same 8-36g casting range and MH power; the 8'4" simply adds extra length for boat, kayak, belly boat, bank or street fishing at greater reach. The rod is aimed primarily at big perch and medium zander, with pike also in the mix given the rod's backbone. It is suitable for boat fishing — the range spans lengths suited to boat, kayak, belly boat, bank and street fishing, and this 7'8" version suits the more compact end of that range.
