What makes this an 'all-rounder' rod? Its wide 60-150g casting range and balanced 3XH power let it handle most pike lures and conditions with one rod, rather than needing a specialist for every lure type. What baitcaster pairs well with this rod? Westin recommend the W6 300BC or 301BC baitcasters as the ideal partner for the Powercast-T. Is this rod too powerful for smaller lures? It's built primarily for the 60-150g range, so very light lures are better suited to the Finesse or Versiteez rods in the W10 range. How many sections does it break down into? Two sections, supplied with a protective Cordura tube and matching rod bag for transport.
