Description

PikePro Deadbait Retainers solve a common problem with soft deadbaits such as sardines and blueys, which can be difficult to cast any distance once defrosted. The retainer holds the bait securely in place rather than relying on improvised fixes. To use, push the hard T-peg through the bait, then slide a short piece of silicone tubing over the peg to cover the point and shaft. Push the barbed point of your treble hook through one of the holes in the shaft of the retainer and the bait is held in position. They can also be used with PikePro Bait Poppers to create simple popped-up baits and kebab rigs.
