Sonubaits Fin Perfect Feed Pellets are a range of feed pellets developed in collaboration with Andy Findlay, the inventor of the Flat Bed Method Feeder and the Pellet Feeder. The pellets contain highly digestible, premium grade fishmeal along with a low amount of fish oil, making them suited to any commercial venue and all coarse fish, especially carp and skimmers. The 2mm pellets are the ones Andy Findlay uses with the Flat Bed Method Feeder. There are several ways to prepare them for the Method Feeder: submerging them in water for 2 minutes then draining them off, adding water a little at a time and allowing them to absorb it before repeating until the pellets are perfect, or using a pellet wetter. Andy's preferred method is to empty a bag into a bait tub and just cover the pellets with lake water so the water sits level with the top of the pellets. Put a lid on and leave them to absorb the water, shaking them every 5 minutes to make sure the water is evenly distributed. After about 30 minutes the pellets will have absorbed all the water and will be at the perfect consistency for use on a Method Feeder. The 4mm pellets are the ones Andy Findlay uses with the Pellet Feeder. The 8mm pellets are most commonly used for catapulting when bomb, feeder or waggler fishing. As with the 6mm size, they need to be uniform in shape to ensure they all land round the float, and have a high density so they can be fired further. The 8mm Fin Perfect Feed Pellets are ideal for this, requiring no preparation and ready to use straight from the bag.
